Out in the way back, there is nifty flooring storage in the cargo area, big enough to accept a 10-inch milk Queen Ice Cream cake (this very specific measure is brought to you by a supply run. The rear hatch itself, opening on an area with 838L of measured loading space, has a wide and well-formed opening, but its handle is located down through the bumper where you will get your dirty hand. Each. Only. Time. Use the FOB or the standard hands-free system instead.

Our destination takes us off the paved road #2 and on the land portion of Brentwood Road in rural Nova Scotia. The morning snow went extinct at a bit of drizzle, changing the surface of the road to a muddy soup that sticks outside the top of Denali white as the icing of these long-gone cinnamon buns stick to the roof of my mouth.
The entire terrain traction system is driven by an online 2.0 L turbocharger that makes a powerful 252 of power and is supported by a nine-speed automatic transmission. This is an appropriate level of Grunt for a crossover weighing at 3800lbs. The small full-haul terrain fittings, such as SLE and SLT, are available with a 1.5 L Turbo. Buyers should pop for the 2.0 L and its premium $1700, without question. Thus equipped, its price is analogous to the high-spec fittings of its competitors but with a power advantage.

Snowfall and freezing temperatures earlier in the week proved the value of the system, allowing the terrain to ship up to speed under smooth conditions. Winter tires and a quartet of disc brakes carry everything safely back to rest without drama.
Forest Glen Greenhouse delivered the goods, with rows on rows of poinsettia plants carefully arranged on display, eager to be taken home by the excited buyers. The Thompsons estimate that nearly 3000 people will pass through the doors during the weekend event, which is great support for a local company that employs people in the area while giving something to the community.
Poinsettia plants and sweet treats are hidden in the cargo area of the field, we knock for the house. All hands are happy and comfortable. The use of a car for its destination worked much better than expected. Maybe I’ll do it more often.
Except when you drive to Toronto in a Blizzard, of course.
