2019 GMC Acadia Exterior Colors Unlike other GMC models, the 2019 GMC Acadia is not directly related to a nameplate elsewhere in GM. Originally, it was the GMC version of the Chevrolet Traverse and the Buick Enclave, but GMC changed that with the 2017 recast of Acadia, which resulted in a shorter, narrower and lighter vehicle.

There are pros and cons in this downsizing. On the negative side, there is less loading space and rear seat for the legs. Among the most, Acadia more orderly is more agile, maneuverable and easier to park. Thanks to its loss of 700-or-si-book in Heft, a smaller 4-cylinder, less thirst for fuel, not available in the Traverse or enclave, serves as the basic engine, offering consumers a more fuel-efficient, albeit less powerful choice.

All this is a way of saying that even if Acadia is a 3-row crossover, it is really a unique choice within the GM family. It’s kind of a mini-me traverse/enclave. There is no shortage of qualified Acadia competitors, but we believe that this GMC is well worth a test drive.

A little tweaking around the edges summarizes GMC’s efforts to bring Acadia forward for 2019. A new Black Edition version for SLT versions includes 20-inch aluminum rims with black accents, black grille insert with black contour, black headlight/taillight details, Black mirror caps and roof rails Black. All-terrain gets a new wheel design available from 17 in. Throw in some new exterior colors, and there you have it.
